Where do I begin... I really thought this would have been a better addition, coming from Riccordi. Sadly the music is difficult to read. Not the notes, but due to the number of footnotes per page. I spent more time turning pages than playing because in many cases, there is...

only a single line or two on each page. The binding does not bend well either, making the book difficult to keep open. I'm afraid the book will fall apart if I keep bending it. Although at that point, the book will stay open on the piano. There is fingering in the music, yet additional fingering in the subsequent footnotes, which I've said are copious in this edition. These fingerings do not show any notation other than parallel rows of numbers that correspond to the measures. Reading the fingering and trying to match this up to the notation is next to impossible.. Sadly I am forced to seek out another edition of these wonderful masterpieces.
