  • January 26, 2014 Great intro to altissimo playing

This is a great piece music and should be incorporated into the serious saxophonist's repertoire, especially considering how cheap it is! It's a good piece to start incorporating altissimo in your playing, with a few high G's & A's. The first movement is a beautiful lyric piece...

, and the second is upbeat and fun.

  • April 02, 2012 Fun

This is a very cool piece. I am playing it on my freshman recital. It is not too challenging and is a lot of fun. It will help solidify your lower altissimo range and your ability to blend that with the normal range.

  • October 12, 2009 Cool Piece

This piece is challenging but not one of the most difficult pieces for sax. Its a good pice to play when your ready to start incorporating altissimo in to some songs.

  • December 19, 2007 review of Sonata, Op. 29

I ordered this from sheetmusicplus.com. I needed it for my senior recital. After hearing a classmate play the first movement in a woodwind jury I was convinced to learn it. Very exciting!
