Composed by Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart. Arranged by Scott Camp. Classical Period,Repertoire,Technique Training,Recital. 8 pages. Published by Scott Camp (S0.156253).

Iconic Allegro (1st movement) from Mozart's Sonata in C, K 545
"How to play" edition includes all hand positions and finger numbers.
Students who want to play this piece have a chance to be successful, because the insidiously hidden (but well-known among teachers) difficult spots are presented with solutions.
This piece is uniquely challenging for several reasons including:
(1) it's theme is so compelling
(2) much of it is easy and intuitive, and even naïve in beauty
(3) small bits of it are truly difficult, and require sophisticated technical solutions
(4) most of it is "small hand" music, but some parts require challenging octave reaches

It is all well and good to train students to solve these challenges themselves, but this piece is not as straight-forward as it appears, especially with its innocent sounding theme.

Many other Mozart sonatas are much easier to play than this one! Including the Andante (2nd movement) from this same sonata. I encourage anyone who is working on the Allegro to treat themselves to the beautiful and much easier to put together Andante.

Technical solutions (hand positions and finger numbers) are presented here, making this a "how to play" edition for this subline music.
