  • September 24, 2012 Six Studies in English Folk Song for Clarinet

I am an adult clarinet student who had played the clarinet as a youngster and teen and have gotten back into it as an adult after a 30 year hiatus. I am relearning the instrument and my interest is classical music. So my teacher suggested Ralph Vaughan Williams Six Studies...

in English Folk Song, which was orginally composed for piano and cello but has been transposed for other instruments. I love the clarinet part for the Six Studies that I got from Sheet Music Plus. Very clear and easy to follow. My only suggestion is it be sold with the piano accompaniment. When the clarinet part arrived, I had to put in another order for the piano part. Anyway it is a great piece of music and great for the budding clarinettist as solo or accompanied.
