    These are very nice little sonatas! But to respond to another comment, being a professional violinist I have only heard of these in passing and have NEVER had them mentioned in an audition. Just wanted to clarify. =]

    These sonatas are, in general, pretty sonatas that are fun to play. They are really not that difficult, but it is imperative that you play them. At some auditions, they won't even take you seriously unless you have played at least some of these. Also, while it's true...

    this is not the most expensive edition, it is very easy to read and understand all the notes and markings. This is the best edition by far, in my opinion.
