These studies are engaging, fun, quick, not hard, but technically stimulating. Not, perhaps, the best place to start with left-hand music (since it doesn't have an introduction or much editing) but an excellent supplement. I played from this book, together with "Piano Music for One Hand" ed. Lewenthall...

when I had a pinched nerve in my right arm. To our amusement, the girl in the painting on the front is playing with her right hand. :)
