Choir Secular (Women's Choir)
From Les Danaides. Composed by Antonio Salieri (1750-1825). Edited by and arr., with new Words, by Patrick M. Liebergen. Choral Octavo; Masterworks. Alfred Choral Designs. Masterwork; Secular. Choral Octavo. 12 pages. Published by Alfred Music (AP.23056).

Item Number: AP.23056

This piece can be programmed year round or at the holidays when you use the optional "Sing We Nowell" text. Lovely for treble choirs in two or three parts. Patrick Liebergen has captured the strengths of this Salieri piece by layering the rhythmic low voice theme under a flowing upper line. Repetitive form for quick learning, and changing dynamics for musical variety. Nice when performed with the festive flute duet, or use the optional CD accompaniment.
