Sing, My Soul, His Wondrous Love by Ned Rorem 4-Part - Sheet Music

By Ned Rorem

Ned Rorem's 'Sing, My Soul, His Wondrous Love' was composed in the South of France in the summer of 1955. This 3-minute setting of Hymn 22 (III.1) of the Protestant Episcopal Church is effective in its direct expressiveness, and its mostly homophonic texture makes it an appealing piece for SATB choirs of all standards.

Lovely, moderately difficult

Short anthem of four stanzas, each harmonized cleverly and effectively. Unaccompanied. Requires an SATB choir that can handle unusual, close harmony. Anything less than excellent intonation will ruin the effect.
