In 1898 he wrote an arrangement for violoncello and piano which enjoys great popularity and belongs to the standardRomantic cello repertoire. The original cello and piano version of Fauré's Sicilienne is a beautiful piece of music, a joy for both the cellist and pianist to play. This edition is as good as it gets: high quality paper, clear easy-to-read print, nice cover. Highly recommended.
