Temple organists will find this a most useful collection that includes 15 familiar hymns from the 'Songs and Hymns' collection used by many temples. These settings are intended for accompaniment of the cantor or congregation and include a brief introduction. They are useful as organ solos for the service, and most call for manuals only or manuals with a simple pedal part. The majority of the hymns have been arranged with two or three different settings. Contains: Adon Olam * Ashreinu * Ein Adir * Ein Keiloheinu * Father, Hear the Prayer We Offer * Halleluhu * Hatikva * If Our God Had Not Befriended * Maoz Tsur * Shalom Aleichem * Shomeir Yisraeil * Spring-Tide of the Year * Tov Lehodot * Yom Zeh Leyisraeil * Yom Zeh Mechubad.

Jewish organ music is not easy to find. This is a good collection, in which music can be played by Grade two to three piano students with some organ experience.
