This great Suite of miniatures based on Chinese Folk songs is an extremely worthwhile addition to the solo cello repertoire. Such wonderful pieces as 'The Drunken Fisherman' are irrsistable and really explore all the expressive capabilities of the instrument. It is however extraordinarily difficult to execute, so be warned!
