  • September 05, 2008 Amazing!!!

I cannot believe how amazing this piece was. I loved it. In Middle School, I was in Advanced Band with older kids (I was youngest) and our band instructor gave us "Seagate Overture." By far, it was our favorite piece. I have almost memorized it, because I just love it...

! It's fun and memorable and amazing!!! It's my favorite song EVER so far in band. I especially love the low brass (MOSTLY THE BARI SAX) part at the begginning, and I managed to learn it on my clarinet. This was the best song ever I mean I was...It's awesome!!! And I love the wood block and bongo solo hehehh...it's just THE BEST!!!

  • June 10, 2006 my favorite piece I played in band

I played this piece in jr. high (quite a few years ago) I still remember the first page by memory, it is by far my faovorite piece I have ever played in my many years playing an instrument. the melody is fun and is something different, it is not too...

chalenging for an intermediate player, and there is a good balance with the entire band.
