"O cessate di piagarmi" is an aria from the opera "Il Pompeo" (1683) by Alessandro SCARLATTI (1660 – 1725), one of the greatest composers of Italian Baroque. It was arranged for voice and piano by Sergei Pichugin. The aria may be an invaluable addition to the repertoire of vocal teachers and students.
