A great basic book for all levels from beginner to intermediate/advanced students. The easy to read format has 1 and 2 octave major and minor scales, cadence patterns, 2 octave arpeggios, circle of 5ths and a chord dictionary of major, minor, diminished, augmented and dominant 7th chiords.

I'm a senior citizen who enroled in a senior piano course. Our teacher is working on her doctorates and has the class work on this book for about 20 minutes; we have 3 pianos in the class. Then we each play one of our personal songs from another book...

. Each student is at different level--beginner, intermediate, advanced. We all need scale work, and it's a common challenge. Terrific.
