This modern piece is not for the faint of heart. But if your choir can pull it off, you've got yourself a winner. The piece is a combination of spoken narration, choir, and keyboard accompaniment. The overall effect is so dynamic and piercing, the listener may actually feel like...

he/she is Saul of Damascus being confronted by the Lord Himself. I've participated in performances of this piece with two different concert choirs in two different cities, and both performances were met with extraordinary responses. (Imagine a legion of voices whispering, hissing, shouting, or singing in the traditional sense in a veritable choreography of vocal "moves.") I highly recommend it for larger choirs (50+ voices). Medium-size choirs may be okay with it also, though you'll never achieve as dramatic an effect. I do not recommend it for small ensembles. Chamber music it ain't!
