Minimalist, ambient, motif-based flexible ensemble build piece set at 10 minutes in length. All instruments are welcome. Important direction notes included with score. Please get in touch if you have any questions! Instrument parts at 11x17 page size to be cut down if needed. Contact for different sizes.

Parts are divided into different register groupings of instruments. Parts are transposed for appropriate instruments. Instrument groups should sit together, though they can be divided into sub-groups and spread out to create a stereo field is desired. Standalone conductor if necessary. Different motifs should pop out of the soundscape at a steady rate over a long amount of time in a given key area. Overlap is accepted and encouraged.

Inspired by the beauty of close-up satellite photography of our planet, as well as the revolution of planet-sized moons in our solar system, who's subtle motion affects an entire system. Written motifs in SATELLITES, left to the players discretion and amplified by the conductor's choosing, aim to recreate this musically.
