The Sancus is from Bruckner's Mass No. 2 in E minor is originally scored for an orchestral wind section. Mr. McKinney is the Bass Trombonist with the Salt Lake City Symphony and has done a beautiful job arranging this glorious movement from the Mass for 12 Trombones. The work is for very advanced performers requiring 3 alto Trombones and is about 4 minutes in length. From the quietest to the most massive sections of this movement, the sound of the Trombone is at its best.
