This Barenreiter book is a throw-away edition of minor figures of the Baroque era. Georg Muffat was primarily known for compiling an ornamentation table and whose music is riddled with innumerable squiggles and trills and mordents, etc. i don’t recommend this book to put it simply. As far...

as Ebner’s contribution to the book, he has more Froberger music than his own. And while his music is by far more playable than Muffat’s it still is not the greatest music ever written to warrant a high-priced edition.
