Moving Pictures, Rush's eighth studio album, came out in 1981 and is their most commercially successful release. The album was certified quadruple platinum in 1995 and features several of Rush's most classic songs, including "Tom Sawyer," "YYZ," "Red Barchetta," and "Limelight." Although they have always shunned the formulaic and popular approaches to rock music, the band is fifth all-time---just behind the Beatles, the Rolling Stones, Kiss and Aerosmith---for the most gold and platinum records by a rock band. Alfred Music's album-matching folio features all songs in authentic guitar TAB.

Titles: The Camera Eye * Limelight * Red Barchetta * Tom Sawyer * Vital Signs * Witch Hunt * YYZ.

    Difficulty Level:
  • 2009-03-10 00:00:00.0 The best prog-rock band ever

Moving Pictures is simply the best album of prog-rock music of the '80 and had severe influenced all modern metal-prog bands like Dream Theater and Opeth. Songs are beautiful and trascriptions are very very accurate, with great tabs for guitar. I strongly suggest this book to everyone wants...

to play Rush on the guitar, because of course is possible to play Limelight or YYZ listening to the CD but sheet music has many little details and variations almost impossible to appreciate by ear. Enjoy!
