This is a piece composed to the words of 'Deep peace of the running wave to you', a poem that has always fascinated me. The poem was written by Fiona MacLeod in 1895. I've written this piece in various forms, always as a vocal duet, but with piano and/or guitar, and/or backing choir. This is a slightly simpler version for vocal duet in E, piano and guitar chords. The words I've used from the poem are:Deep peace of the running wave to youDeep peace of the flowing air to youDeep peace of the quiet earth to youDeep peace of the shining stars to youDeep peace of the infinite peace to you.
