    Cora B. Ahrens, these books, I have used since I was sixteen and first taught group theory. A half century later and, after drifting into another profession, then motherhood, now grandmotherhood, I am teaching my g'children music and could not find these small, simple books anywhere. They have no...

    bells, whistles, pictures, just black and white clear information succinctly presented and with lots of practice pages. I haven't found anything to rival it, especially the first three or four books, for children to learn the names of notes.
