Great piece of music! The edition is good, easy to read with page turns placed about as well as possible. I highly recommend this piece for those of you who are interested; however, if repertoire selections like Ravel's Gaspard de la nuit and Godowsky's Studies on Chopin's...

Etudes are well beyond your grasp, or if you even just don't like dissonant harmonies, then I would strongly advise not buying this, unless your interests are not performance oriented. This is a rather formidable piece of repertoire written by Villa-Lobos for Rubinstein and, for me, it stands out, technically and musically, from his other repertoire for piano. For what you get the investment is small and worthwhile!
