I like Rubinstein's music a good deal. This one, however, simply doesn't seem very beautiful in my opinion. Not, that is, until the last 15 seconds, which in my opinion make the whole piece worth it. Music aside, it is an EXCELLENT technical exercise. To give background on...

my experience, I am in the process of finalizing my performance of the 11th Hungarian Rhapsody. While I wouldn't call this piece difficult, I have both large hands and some small experience with VERY challenging pieces. Altogether, I highly recommend this piece.

This Anton Rubenstein Melody was once a standard encore piece, in the era when musicians and listeners had the luxury of occasionally lightening up and taking music a little less seriously. Kudos to Sheetmusicplus for keeping it in stock.
