When you have finished this book (I did in about three months) you will have learned to finger all the notes of the saxophone and sight-read music in nine different keys as well as play the complete chromatic scale. I highly recommend this book to beginners of all ages.

I'm presently instructing my son and one of my daughters in how to play the alto saxophone. This method is easy to follow and they are progressing at an acceptable level of learning. I would recommend this method to all teachers who are instructing the beginning student.

The book is easy if you know whot you are doing. If your just learnig Saxophone or your a teacher this is a perect book for you! Although it does not have many famous songs just written music.
