    I agree with all the above. My only complaint is that it would have been nice to have some of the trickier pieces broken down into small sections and played as a 'slow version' on the accompanying cd - most books in the 'Signature Licks' series do this. As to the...

    odd notes regarding the use of capo mentioned by another reviewer, I thought the same when I first got the book (e.g. it says things like 'tune down a semi-tone and put the capo at the second fret' - why not just capo at first fret?). This seems to be quite common. The idea is to tune down the strings because doing so reduces the string tension and makes them easier to bend - Stevie Ray Vaughn dit it too. Putting the capo on after tuning down gives you a different key but with the reduced string tension. Buy this book and save yourself the trouble of a trip to the crossroads and a pact with the devil.

    I was a relative beginner when i first came across this book,the poor relation to my guitar playing mates.Well not any more,now i'm the man and its all thanks to this exelent book.The cd really helps to master the sometimes daunting looking tabs so persevere...

    the results are worth it.only down side is theres only 16 songs but it will take you ages to play them all properly WARNING:THIS BOOK IS NOT FOR HALFWITS ITS FOR REAL MEN!!!

    I have many Robert Johnson books etc and this one rates best of all.There are some great tunes although some of the tuning comments seem a bit odd as to the use of the Capo.Highly recommend it to all.
