    This piece is a fabulous Baroque work. It requires a really strong bassoonist, both in technique and endurence. It also takes some effort to work out ornamentation, articualations and dynamics, but well worth the effort. The harpsichord needs to be a good size instrument or it will just be lost...

    when playing with modern flutes and bassoon. The piece can also be done with a flute and oboe on the treble parts. I would suggest using a double bass on the continuo part to give a little more depth to the ensemble sound.
