This a great little arrangement , by Romantic Composer EDVARD GRIEG.

In this piece, Grieg paints a musical picture of Puck ( the mischievous imp/ fairy like creature) from MidSummer Night's Dream (Shakespeare ) .
This song , written by E. Grieg, is has contrasting playful moods from heavy , serious minor to the dancing , light-hearted major section.
Arranged for intermediate choir /e nsemble , great for High School , College, featured about a classical program, or independently or even as a themed concert/program such as Dance/ ballet / spring / autumn or a Halloween theme due to the sprite like minor to major modes of this piece. This will work as a sextet ( piccolo, flute 1 , 2, 3, alto ans bass) to full choir / ensemble ( piccolo, flute 1 , flute 2 , flute 3, flute 4 , flute 5 -c sub. for alto in g, alto in g , bass flute, and contra bass flute.Flute 4 does mirror bass flute , however adding flute 4 and flute 5 c sub. for alto adds texture and fullness to the sound of the piece. )
