Sebastian Jacot began studying the flute at the age of eight. When he was fifteen he was accepted into the Conservatoire Superieur de Musique de Geneve where he studied under Jacques Zoon. The Carl Nielsen International Competitions began in the 1970s, and are held for violin, flute, and clarinet. Jacot was the winner of the Carl Nielsen International Flute Competition in 2014. Jacot is accompanied by the Odense Symphony Orchestra, conducted by one of Sweden's leading conductors, David Bjorkman. This is Sebastian Jacot's debut recording.
