Annie Beliveau's stunning treble chorus piece is an ode to the wonderful sensation of humans singing in tune with others. It uses both traditional Bulgarian rhythms and singing techniques unique to this country's rich musical heritage. With its complexities, the piece remains entirely accessible to high school choruses and adult avocational ensembles as well. The optional percussion parts add richness and interest to the already compelling texture.
