It may be used either to supplement or to follow any beginning method book and will serve as an ideal preparation for the slightly more advanced techniques to be found in the Second Book.

This is a nice supplement for private lessons to go with the Standard of Excellence method books. This book is beginning to intermediate level. Some are pieces the student can perform for parents/friends. It is sequential and playing more means the student advances quickly. I also use Book 2...

    which is intermediate - advanced.
