Composed by Turlough O'carolan. Arranged by Geoff Horrocks and Trish Horrocks. Folk,World. Score and parts. 10 pages. Cross Canada Fiddle #14311. Published by Cross Canada Fiddle (A0.926212).

This "folk band" arrangement of O'Carolan's famous Planxty Fanny Powers is for tin whistle, three violins or fiddles, and mandolin. It also includes chord symbols for accompanying piano or guitar. It is suitable for a small group or a large folk instrument orchestra. The first fiddle line goes up to fourth position, and all other fiddle parts are suitable for intermediate players. Harmony lines alternate between simple chords and parallel harmonies. The original chords suggested by the melody have been expanded for more harmonic excitement.
