The music of "Pippin" is a lot of fun to play on the piano, and fortunately this book has a pretty challenging arrangement of most of them, making the songs sound very good. Unfortunately, quite a few of the songs have had the key changed (Morning Glow, With You, No...

Time At All, Simple Joys). The reason for this isn't always clear, as No Time At All would have been just as easy to learn had the key been left alone; but this is really the only thing wrong with the book. Some songs have also been edited a bit (why delete the wonderful key change in Morning Glow??), but most of the arrangements are still a lot of fun to play--my favorites are Corner of the Sky and Extraordinary. Despite all its editorial tweakings, this is a very good book for Pippin fans or anyone who likes a bouncy, fun musical.

This book has all of the songs you could want! And many of the songs aren't all that difficult to learn! A good buy! Especially if you like musicals in general!
