    Well-constructed and informative, this score should be in the collection of any serious student of orchestration. There are pages of background information on both Mussorgsky and Ravel and their relation to the music. The score itself is Ravel's orchestration, with Mussorgsky's original running beneath for comparison.

    Its a must.You have the piano version underneath the orchestration so you can follow all the genius steps Ravel took while orchestrating it!
