    This is a very good edition with quality printing. The price is a bit steep (I brought it because it was on sale). I don't believe that an urtext edition would make much of a difference in Liszt's music. I compared this edition with another edition and there...

    A Quality Schirmer edition of these works exists at a much lower price ($13) under the name "Rhapsodies Hongroises" Get that instead.

    This is a magnificent edition of Liszt's Hungarian Rhapsodies ( 2nd volume 9-19) edited by one of his pupils Emil von Sauer, which makes the edition all the more credible and respected. The size of the printing is large and very legible. I have been a lover of Liszt...

    's music for many years now, so I enjoy playing his music, particularly his Hungarian Rhapsodies. I recommend them to everyone, however they are technically challenging so advanced technique is nescessary to execute them.
