    This is really level one and not preparatory level. It contains the best original compositions at this level. Good quality print, nice and short, thin book; students can't learn more than this number of pieces at this level. Also, this book is keyed to the Snell Fundamentals theory textbook...

    , so the pieces are analyzed in the theory book, and this is motivational.
