Multikey approach is still there, with scales, pieces, chords, and improvisation provided in all keys. I followed up this book with Alfred's Play Piano Now book 2 and continued on with Alfred Adult levels 2 and 3. It provided a very smooth and complete learning progression that led the student to early advanced music.
