SKU: A0.575683

Composed by David Warin Solomons. Contemporary. 19 pages. David Warin Solomons #2026901. Published by David Warin Solomons (A0.575683).

This is a version of my Passacaglia for flute sextet or flute choir (4 standard flutes, 1 alto flute and 1 bass flute). A passacaglia is a gentle stroll in triple time with a basso ostinato, which can vary. The Italian word actually comes from the Spanish words pasar and calle, indicating a walk down a street. Versions for various other combinations are also available here.
The pdf file contains the score and parts.
The sound sample is a performance by the flautists of Budapest Scoring in September 2017.
