Moulds (A0.940886).The fourth in the series Leyendas Místicas (Mystic Legends), this very Spanish-flavored entertainment was written at the request of Laurel Karlik-Sheehan. The title, which translates as ‘Footsteps of the Past,’ was more or less a spontaneous inspiration. The fluctuating rhythms accented with striking chords are meant to be played with a certain amount of flair and élan. Pasos del Ayer has also been arranged for orchestra.
