Their ploy is disrupted when the toys come alive and begin asking the children about the meaning of Christmas. Since no one seems to know what Christmas is, everyone decides to board a toy train and "go out searching for Christmas." The songs are singable and the story moves happily along with plenty of singing and dancing and action.
