The luscious Amen of this anthem would be enough, but you'll want to sing all of this delightfully flowing setting of Aquinas' familiar O Salutaris Hostia text. Here is an easily learned and lovely successor to the well-worn traditional tune, supported by a sensitive and expressive keyboard accompaniment. The second verse's overlapping choral lines elegantly paint the text, evoking a sense of the endless praise of God. And then there is that Amen. Your choir will want to sing this again and again.
