"I’ve been sketching music for O Magnum Mysterium since 2008 but all the material I came up with ended in just ideas for a long time, It was until 2015 that a friend asked me to write a piece for choir a capella using a sacred text. After a couple of months of sketching, putting away lots of material and dealing with the meaning of the text for me I came up with my final work. You’ll find different changes among phrases especially in harmony to emphasize what I wanted to say with the music. The work includes occasional divisi in altos also on tenor and bases just at the last bar.
