We have done this song a few times in church, myself I like it,it has been done by our choir as I am a member, the men do a part then the women repeat, then the women do a part then the men repeat, example, men--Oh healing river...

,women-- oh healing river, men-- send down your waters, women-- send down your waters, do whole song that way then go back to the beginning and reverse,women-- oh healing river,-- men-- oh healing river, and so on, we have 2 tenors in out choir, and 2 basses, female wise,we have sopranos and alto's thats it,plus we have a choir band, piano player who studied at eastman school of music,in rochester, new york, plus a bass player, drummer, and two accoustic guitar players, for not really being professionals, the congregation feels we do a good job.
