2015 Piano Contest A classic minimalist arrangement, with a fixed octave and 55th in the treble, and an ostinato in the bass. Very much akin to the Phillip Glass style of Minimal writing, with the right hand reaching over the left to play a low note, and a fixed set of tones that repeat, with a slight variation in the dyad that begins each harmonic shift. Can be repeated as many times as desired, makes an excellent vocal accompaniment. MP3 MIDI audio. Pedaling indicated throughout. MBB.
