  • 2018-11-02 12:02:08.0 The worst arrangement I’ve ever seen

    I tried to rehearse it with my violinist. Unfortunately, this arrangement is impossible to read. There are hundreds of notes missing in both parts ( for example there would be an accidental sharp with no note next to it) , lots of missing lager lines makes it impossible to tell what note...

    it is. Besides that, the arrangement is done so unprofessionally, lots of time both hands in the piano part have same notes in the same octave written for it. I’m a professional concert pianist, former piano faculty at Mannes College and my violinist plays with NYPhil. We can read and play pretty much anything. This arrangement of Tchaikovsky’s Nutcracker suite is the worst music I’ve ever seen. [....]
