These two variations for organ are both captivating, the first variation has the chorale melody in the left hand with upward (heavenly) moving right hand accompaniment. The second variation is very much in the early baroque style with the chorale melody in the pedals. These two variations can be played separately or as a set and would make a fine voluntary to conclude any worship service. They also make excellent teaching material for those new to playing the organ.
