Nómade

Version for flute sextet (or six-part flute choir)

Nómade is the second movement of SONATANGO, composed in 2002. Actually, Nómade was the first being composed (concretelly in Lilienthal, Germany, on 13th June 2002). Up to now, I made more than thirty instrumentations of this movement. This one is the 34th version, it was made in Bremen in February 2013 for the group Flautas Argentinas coordinated by Cecilia Piehl, and premiered during the 41st Convention of the National Flute Association in New Orleans -USA- in August 2013.

Each of the six parts can be performed by more than one flute.

The piccolo part can be performed with soprano flute (one octave higher, of course).

 

Nómade, as the whole SONATANGO, is dedicated to my sister María Mercedes.
