This is a very satisfying collection of easy to play jazz pieces for me. I'm a senior who hasn't played piano in a long, long time and was never very good at it, and now that I have more appreciation for jazz I'm really hooked on this...

collection. Some of the arrangements are quite good for this level of difficulty, songs where the chording is very nicely done and the song sounds good played simply, like "Misty" and "Autumn Leaves." "Softly As In a Morning Sunrise" is tops. Others are fun to play, my favorite is "Bluesette". On the other hand I would question whether "Spain" or ""So What" qualify as standards. Monk's "Well you Needn't" is a brave choice, but I would have preferred "Blue Monk" at this level, "Well You Needn't" sounds too much like the Woody Woodpecker Song! "Take Five" is a questionable choice given Paul Desmond's almost required tenor sax, and "Watermelon Man" doesn't cut it for me, but otherwise it's a nice compilation, well worth the price.
