Composed by Traditional, Samuel Francis Smith. Arranged by John McAllister. Classical,Folk,Patriotic. Score and parts. 24 pages. John McAllister #6436785. Published by John McAllister (A0.778207).

My Country, Tis' of Thee is an Americana classic. This arrangement/rhapsody takes the tune and imagines it in multiple contexts, written for the typical second to third year players. After a robust introduction, the melody is broken apart in variety of contexts, allowing woodwind and brass moments. The piece then culminates to a full ensemble tutti of the full tune, almost hymn-like. This piece would be a great addition to any concert and possible assemblies/performances honoring those who have served (Veterans Day, Memorial Day, etc).

This product was created by a member of ArrangeMe, Hal Leonard’s global self-publishing community of independent composers, arrangers, and songwriters. ArrangeMe allows for the publication of unique arrangements of both popular titles and original compositions from a wide variety of voices and backgrounds.
