Composed by Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart. Arranged by Ray Thompson. Classical,Holiday,Wedding. 27 pages. RayThompsonMusic #3043597. Published by RayThompsonMusic (A0.553541).

Mozart's 5 Divertimenti K439b, originally written for 3 basset horns, have been arranged for many combinations of instruments.
I have arranged this one (No.1) for a standard brass trio of trumpet, horn and trombone. I have transcribed the parts into concert pitch F in order to fit all the parts into a comfortable range.
I have taken some liberties in the trombone part, transposing up an octave where necessary, but avoiding any "clash" with the two upper instruments. There is an overlap sometimes where it is playing higher than the horn, but the harmonies are still fine.

Check out my other arrangements for hn 3 and low brass trio.

The mp3 is my horn trio arrangement.

I feel it works well as a brass trio.
