This composition is based on the beautiful chorale melody Wie schön leuchtet der Morgenstern (How beautifully the morning star shines). Like the chorale fantasias by Bach and Buxtehude, this is a fantasia in which the original theme is usedand altered throughout the work in various ways. Slow passages are alternated with fast ones, and finally a grand tutti arrives in which the original chorale theme sounds joyfully in a majestic finale. For extra colour and dimension, an optionalorgan part has been added, that can be used when the circumstances are appropriate. On the full score, the various organ entries are indicated.
Deze compositie is gebaseerd op de prachtige koraalmelodie Wie schön leuchtet der Morgenstern. Zoals de koraalfantasieën van Bach en Buxtehude is dit een fantasie waarin het originele thema door het hele werk heen op diverse manieren gebruikt en gevarieerd wordt. Langzame delen worden afgewisseld met snelle, om ten slotte uit te monden in een groots tutti waar het oorspronkelijke koraalthema jubelend weerklinkt in een majestueuze finale. Voor extra kleur en dimensie is er een optionele orgelpartij toegevoegd die kan worden gebruikt als de omstandigheden zich daartoe lenen. Op de directiepartituur staan de verschillende orgelinzetten aangeduid.
Diese Komposition basiert auf der wunderschönen Choralmelodie Wie schön leuchtet der Morgenstern. Es handelt sich um eine Fantasie, in der wie bei den Choralfantasien von Bach und Buxtehude das Originalthema verwendet und im gesamten Werk aufunterschiedliche Art und Weise verändert wird. Langsame Passagen wechseln sich mit schnellen ab; schließlich erscheint ein großes Tutti und das originale Choralthema erklingt fröhlich im majestätischen Finale. Um eine zusätzliche Klangfarbe zuerzeugen, wurde eine optionale Orgelstimme hinzugefügt, die bei Bedarf verwendet werden kann. Die verschiedenen Orgeleinsätze sind in der Partitur angegeben.
Cette composition est basée sur le magnifique choral Wie schön leuchtet der Morgenstern (Comme brille l’étoile du matin). Comme dans les fantaisies de choral de Bach et Buxtehude, cette fantaisie utilise et transforme le thème original demanières différentes tout au long du morceau. Des passages lents s’alternent avec des rapides, et enfin un grand tutti s’annonce dans lequel le thème d’ouverture du choral est entendu joyeusement dans un finale majestueux. Pour plus de couleur et dedimension, une partie d’orgue a été ajoutée, utiliser lorsque les circonstances s’y prêtent. Les entrées de l’orgue sont indiquées sur la partition d’orchestre.
Variazioni sulla melodia del canto luterano Wie schön leuchtet der Morgenstern (“Com’è splendente la stella del mattino”), gi resa immortale da Bach e Buxtehude. La coloratura melodica e la variet ritmica della composizione hanno concesso a Bert Appermont la libert di tinteggiare un arrangiamento variopinto e coinvolgente dal finale sontuoso e al contempo vivace. Alcune parti dell’arrangiamento possono essere arricchite da inserti opzionali di organo inclusi nella partitura.
